I first noticed the work of Yours By Design at a local gift/design store. The quality of the fabric, how the fabric fell and the design caught my eye. I have Hunter Douglas plantation blinds on my windows and needed some color to finish the rooms. Window treatments would be a perfect way to add color and to finish them.
Helene and Jen showed up as scheduled with bundles of fabric samples, books of designs and a good sense of humor. After a walk-thru of the house (without their shoes), sample fabrics and designs were shown and the pros and cons of each was discussed. They spent several hours with me and we were able to get the fabrics, backing, design, and rods and finials picked-out.
The proposal was delivered in a few days, which was when it was promised. I asked them to return just to be sure of my selections and they were very gracious in doing so. After that meeting, I gave the green light and when it came time for the installation, the drapes and hardware looked stunning. The installation was done in short order with no marks on my walls.
I am extremely pleased with the result. I have tried to make my home a showcase and this has added to its beauty. Visitors remark at how well the drapes tie in my wall colors and furniture, and complement the overall style of my home.
